Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Pumpkin pie is easy to make and a great way to introduce your kids to baking. Follow this simple recipe below!


Sugar 3/4 Cup
Pumpkin Pie Spice 1 1/2 Teaspoons
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Pumpkin 1 Can (15 oz)
Evaporated Milk 1 1/4 Cups
Eggs 2
Frozen Deep-Dish Pie Crust 1


  1. Pre-Heat oven to 425°F while mixing ingredients in large bowl.
  2. Pour mixture into pie crust.
  3. Bake 15 minutes at 425°F then reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake 40 to 50 minutes longer. Check for doneness with a knife inserted near center. It should come out clean.
  4. Place on cooling rack for about 2 hours before serving or refrigerating.
  5. Enjoy your pie with lots of whipped cream.

After mixing all of your ingredients, pour your mixture into your pie crust.

Make sure your oven is pre-heated to 425 before baking. Bake your pie for 15 minutes then reduce to 350°F and finish for 40-50 minutes more.

Now that you cooked your pie, make sure it is all the way done. Insert a clean butter kife in the middle.

When your pie is fully cooked, the knife will be clean when you remove it. Nothing should stick to it.
